Detectives still searching for missing Calabash woman

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing Calabash woman who was last seen at her home early Monday morning.

Brunswick County detectives say Jessica Leigh Edwards, 33, was last seen at her home on Carra Lane in Calabash around 4:30 a.m. Monday. Jessica has brown eyes and brown hair, is 5’6″ tall, weighs 125 pounds and has a mole on her top lip.

Detectives say she was last seen wearing a green coat, jeans and flip-flops, driving an orange Mitsubishi Eclipse. They say Jessica has a tattoo of a dream-catcher with the word “Lumbee” written across it on her left arm.

Jessica is not believed to be in any danger, but deputies ask anyone with information to call Det. Preston Nowell with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at (910)253-2777, or call 911.
