WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) — Today marks the final deadline to submit your film for the 20th annual Cucalorus Film Festival, held Nov. 12-16, 2014 in Wilmington. There is no submission fee for residents of Wilmington.

Submissions are considered for a wide range of festival programs focusing on emerging and innovative filmmakers, North Carolina artists, social justice, student films, films by youth, shorts, dance films, works-in-progress, independent and international cinema. The festival strives to showcase diverse, international artists of all ages, genders, races, economics, hairstyles, religions, and backgrounds.
