Diligence pulls out of the Port City

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — You might have noticed the riverfront looks a little empty. That’s because our Coast Guard Cutter Diligence is out to sea.

The Diligence left the Port City Saturday morning to embark on a two month patrol in the Caribbean Sea.

One of its many missions this patrol will be to assist Joint Interagency Task Force South and the Coast Guard Seventh District in the pursuit of illegal narcotics.
