Diligence sets sail Thursday morning

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — After being home in the Port City for a couple months, the Coast Guard Cutter Diligence is heading back out to sea.

Tomorrow, the Diligence is bound for a patrol in the Caribbean followed by a three-week training program in Florida. The program is designed to test the crewmembers in areas like navigation, seamanship, damage control and engineering.

The Diligence sets sail from the Wilmington riverfront tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
