Police: Man found with gunshot wound to leg

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating after a man was found with a gunshot wound to the leg Wednesday night.

They say around 9:15 p.m., an officer heard a gunshot, and then a ShotSpotter alert came in.

Police say they found the man who was shot in the 1100 block of Browns Aly, but they are still looking into exactly where the shooting happened.
