Dodd speaking in Raleigh about infrastructure

RALEIGH — Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd is speaking in North Carolina about the importance of investing in the nation’s infrastructure.

Dodd will speak Monday morning on the first day of North Carolina State University’s Emerging Issues Forum. He is the chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee.

North Carolina Reps. G.K. Butterfield, David Price, Heath Shuler and Virginia Foxx will then speak about how to stimulate the economy. Gov. Beverly Perdue will address the forum during a
lunchtime speech.

The annual forum brings together public policy leaders from around the state, nation and world to discuss and debate challenges.
