Dog adoption back on in Brunswick County
Dog adoptions are back on at the Brunswick County Animal Shelter.
Adoptions were put on hold last month after two dogs tested positive for distemper, A highly-contagious respiratory disease.
After consultations with the shelter’s veterinarian and experts at NC State University, the decision has been made to resume adoptions again beginning Monday at 10:00 a.m.
