Dog Eat Dog at Dangerous Dog Appeals Court
Ed Brennan owns an irish wolfhound mix and chow mix. Two months ago both dogs were involved in an incident where they were off property. They’ve both been accused of attacking Tony Williams’ pomeranian. Tony Williams told the dog court panelists: ” I heard my dog yelp. There was a big white flash out of the corner of my eye and there was a big white dog that had my dog by the neck on the ground. I hollered at the dog and he picked my dog up and shook him around and took off under my fence. I only had my underwear on, a shirt and it was 19 degrees. At that moment I said to myself are you committed to saving this dog’s life or are you just going to let that big dog take him?”
At that moment Tony picked up a stick and chased the big white dog. ” I thought my dog was dead by the appearance of my dog.” The pomeranian did not die, but apparently it came close to doing so. Medical bills are over $1,000. The dog court panelists did not rule on the case Wednesday night because they want to have animal control examine the Ed Brennan’s fence before making a ruling. Until the ruling Brennan’s dogs have to adhere to dangerous dog guidelines. If Ed Brennan wins, his dogs will lose the potentially dangerous dog label.
