Fair Bluff mayor Britt reelected
The second time was the charm for the mayor of Fair Bluff. Incumbent mayor Randy Britt won the do-over election Tuesday defeating Chris Scott by 83 votes.
Britt protested the initial election results after losing to Scott by just two votes. Britt claimed some voters were not legal residents of the town. The state upheld the protest and ordered a new election.
The final count Tuesday: Britt had 298 votes to Scott’s 215.
