Dosher Memorial conducting community health survey

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — If you live or work in Brunswick County, then Dosher Memorial Hospital would like to hear from you.

They are conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment for 2018, which you can find here.

It asks questions such as, ‘In your opinion, what do most people die from in your community and what is the biggest health issue of concern in your community?’

“The Board of Trustees, Administration and Medical Staff will use the collective feedback to prioritize health and wellness needs, and implement specific services over the next few years,” Dosher Board Chair Sherri Marshall said. “We look forward to a high participation rate, especially because the survey takes less than five minutes to complete.”

619 people completed the last Community Health Needs Assessment survey by Dosher in 2015.

The hospital expects to surpass that amount through this year’s survey.

Results will be announced later this year.
