Douglass Academy meets enrollment numbers for upcoming school year

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — State regulators say a Wilmington charter school should have enough students this fall.

Douglass academy had until today to provide records showing they have at least 65 students.

Office of charter schools director Joel Medely says a member of his team visited the school Tuesday and found records for 95 students. He says they will return in September to make sure there are still at least 65 students enrolled.
