Downtown Christmas tree taking shape

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s time once again for downtown Wilmington to start putting up its Christmas tree.

Like last year the tree will be in the parking lot across from the Coast Guard Cutter Diligence at the corner of Water and Princess streets.

The annual lighting is the day after Thanksgiving starting at 5:30 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by to see the kids.
