Downtown Wrightsville Beach to get makeover
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — After three years of anticipation the downtown area of Wrightsville Beach is getting a facelift.
The plan for the downtown Trolley Stop project is to add some landscaping and benches to beautify the area. The project will cost around $90,000 to complete.
The Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen is now waiting for the state’s approval.
Wrightsville Beach Spokesperson Ann Britt said, “We’re just looking to see it completed, and we’re hoping everyone will enjoy it and like it.”
The project is expected to start in October and should be completed by December.
