Dozens attend first ever Wilmington VegFest

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Port City welcomed its first ever VegFest Saturday and many of the vendors wanted to show ‘change tastes good’.

The VegFest had more than 50 vendors and shared with visitors the benefits of a plant-based diet. Organizations and local businesses came together to provide an atmosphere welcoming to both veterans and newbies to the vegan lifestyle.

Juice and jewelry were only a few of the products available for purchase. Many of the vendors hoped to share how easy it can be to switch to a vegan lifestyle.
