Driver injured after SUV flips, slides across oncoming lanes

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A SUV rollover tied up traffic on Oleander Drive and Independence Blvd. this afternoon in Wilmington.

The SUV slid on its roof across two oncoming lanes of traffic and onto the Cross-City Trail.

Wilmington Police say the driver was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where they say he appears to be in stable condition.
