Drivers cited in rainy Wilmington crash
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police said a heavy rainstorm was partly to blame for a crash where a car ended up under another.
A WPD spokeswoman said they received the call just before 9 a.m. in the 6400 block of Oleander Drive near the Trooper Schwartz bridge over Bradley Creek. Police said a Pontiac sedan and Chrysler sedan crashed, with the Pontiac ending up partly on top of the other vehicle.
No injuries were reported. Both drivers were cited for driving too fast in the rainy conditions.
