Drowning victim’s body washes ashore

The body of a young man who went missing in the ocean off Carolina Beach last weekend has been found.

Nineteen-year-old Angel Gonzalez got swept away Saturday, when swimming near the Hamlet Ave. beach access.

His body was washed ashore this morning, just down the beach from where he was last seen.
