Duke Energy Progress scheduled power outage

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Duke Energy Progress has scheduled a power outage today that will impact a small area of Carolina Beach.

The power outage will only affect 130 residential customers around 1403 South Lake Park Blvd. customers that will be affected have been notified.

The outage is expected to last from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No businesses should be affected during the outage.
