Duke Lacrosse Team In Final 4
The Duke lacrosse team has already received vindication. Now the Blue Devils are looking for an NCAA championship trophy.
The top-seeded Blue Devils, who are 16-and-2, face unbeaten
Cornell tomorrow in the semifinal round. Johns Hopkins will take on
Delaware, and the winners of the two matches will face off Monday
for the title.
Two years ago, Duke reached the championship game for the first
time in the team’s history.
But last season was cut short after three players were charged
when a woman hired as a stripper for a team party claimed she was
attacked.
Charges were dropped against the players last month.
The Blue Devils began anew in February with a win over
Dartmouth. And three months later, the team now intends to finish
what it started.
