Earth Fare holding job interviews in Wilmington through Saturday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A new grocery-chain coming to Wilmington is looking to fill more than 100 jobs.

Earth Fare is hosting a job fair Wednesday through Saturday to hire both full and part-time positions.

Job fair attendees should be prepared for an on-site interview at the fair, and to talk about qualifications and provide schedule availability.

One applicant, Lisa Guerra, said it’s been difficult for her to find a job in Wilmington after moving from the north.

“Online, I noticed that there was a job fair in Wilmington. And it’s a great opportunity for anyone looking for a job, especially after the hurricane. So I am hoping to find something that I’m looking for,” said Guerra.

Earth Fare, founded in Asheville in 1975, is a specialty organic and natural foods grocery store.

The job fair is happening at The Terraces on Sir Tyler, 1826 Sir Tyler Drive in Wilmington, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

Earth Fare will be located at 943 Military Cutoff Road in Wilmington. According to their website, the store is expected to open fall 2018.
