East Bladen High School put on lockdown after students seen with weapons

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — East Bladen High School went into lockdown, after three students were seen trespassing on private property with weapons.
The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office posted about the incident on social media on Thursday.
BCSO said the students were identified and no weapons were found on campus.
Authorities said the students were released to their caregivers, and are awaiting charges from the property owner.
School officials said the lockdown was precautionary.
The investigation is ongoing.
