East Bladen names new athletic director

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Even though it’s summertime, there’s been a shake-up in East Bladen High School’s athletic department.

Boys basketball coach Larry Williams resigned back in March, but he said he would remain the school’s athletic director, but Williams is out as AD. Girls hoops coach Patty Evers is the new AD.

Evers will continue to coach the girls basketball team. Her squad was the state runner-up the last two seasons.
