Eastern NC airports to see service changes

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A couple of eastern North Carolina airports will soon see some changes in service.

American Eagle will end its two daily roundtrip flights from Fayetteville to Dallas at the end of the month, reports the Fayetteville Observer. The move comes as American Airlines reorganizes and cuts flights in bankruptcy.

Meanwhile, another airline is adding flights to and from Jacksonville’s Albert J. Ellis Airport. The airport says US Airways will add service to Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, with one daily flight starting March 25.
