Eating at desk a dirty habit

In many of our busy workdays, there’s hardly time to take a lunch break leaving many to eat lunch at their desks, but you may think twice after hearing the next story.

This keyboard looks and functions like a normal keyboard, but there’s one difference, you can put it in the dishwasher. And you may want one when you find out all the germs you’re exposed to during a typical workday.

Jenna Marcum is like many people. She’s got a busy workday, and no time for a lunch break.

“I eat at work usually because I don’t have time to go out and get anything and it helps me to be efficient and to get my work done quicker cause there’s only so much time in the day.”

However, according to a University of Arizona study, the average computer keyboard harbors 400 times more bacteria than the average toilet seat.

In response, a company called Seal Shield invented a $40 keyboard you can throw in the dishwasher.

Jenna said she’s not sure if she wants to spend the cash on the keyboard, but one thing is for sure, she’ll think twice before she eats at her computer.
