Echo Farms residents hold meeting Sunday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Echo Farms homeowners met this afternoon for a meeting to discuss a potential development that could change their neighborhood.

Residents are worried the golf course will be replaced with more than 650 single and multi family homes in the near future. At the meeting, members planned to create sub committees to help fight the plans.

The Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization said they received a study regarding traffic in the area.
