Edwards: Corporate Democrats as bad as corporate Republicans

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards today started airing his second new television ad this week, telling voters that changing political parties in Washington isn’t enough to fix corruption.

The former North Carolina senator has embraced an anti-Washington message during his second presidential bid. In his new 30-second television ad, Edwards tells voters in a town hall-style meeting there is no difference between political parties when it comes to corruption.

Edwards says the system is corrupt and rigged against the people. He says voters should be wary of partisanship.

Edwards says nothing will change if corporate Republicans are replaced by corporate Democrats.

The ad is Edwards’ fifth new ad in New Hampshire since summer.
