Emergency response closes section of Oxpen Road

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Oxpen Road is closed in both directions between Lakeside Drive and Harbor Cove as emergency crews and utility personnel respond to an incident in the area.

Officials have not released an estimated time for the road to reopen.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area, use an alternate route and use caution around emergency responders and utility crews working on scene.
