Enjoy live music and help support area pets at Paws-Ability’s BandFest
SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — This weekend, the whole family can enjoy an afternoon at Sunset Beach for a great cause.
Paws-Ability, a nonprofit organization that works to improve animal welfare in Brunswick County, is holding BandFest to benefit Stella’s Touch.
The Stella’s Touch program began in June of 2017 and is designed to work with pets of owners who are experiencing physical or financial hardship. The program’s objective is to keep pets with their owners.
BandFest is on Sunday from 12:30-6 p.m. at Sunset Beach Waterfront Park. Entry is free; however, attendees can purchase a numbered bracelet used for raffle drawings throughout the day.
There will be entertainment by Sea & Sand Band until 2:30 p.m. and by country music artist Trey Calloway from 3-5:30 p.m.
Food vendors, a beer and wine garden and Pelican’s SnoBalls will be available for purchase. There will also be local vendors and rescue groups with animals available to adopt.

Annual memberships for Paws-Ability is $10 for individuals, $15 for family and $50 for a business. To learn more about it, click here.
