COLUMBUS COUNTY — An inmate who walked out of the Columbus County jail five months ago, is back in custody.

Jimmy Edwards was one of three inmates who escaped though an unlocked door in October. He was caught Thursday morning in Clemson, S.C.

Police say he was living there, using the alias Nicademus Xavier Edwards.
