Expect openings on Cape Fear Memorial Bridge nights this week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — If you drive over the Cape Fear Memorial bridge late at night, you may be left waiting this week.

The bridge tender says they are training a new bridge tender and to expect openings between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night this week.

The bridge tender tells us the training is being done at night to reduce traffic impacts.
