Fake Ipod sold on eBay

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — About two months ago, David Ray bought an Apple Ipod from someone in Texas.

When he received the package, it was from China.

Inside was a counterfeit version of the Ipod Nano — Apple’s trademarked hot seller.

You can tell it’s a fake because compared to a real Ipod. The counterfeit one is bigger, has generic earphones, different buttons, a different USB plug, cheap packaging and a knock-off manual.

Ray purchased Buyer Protection from PayPal. He notified both eBay and PayPal of what happened.
PayPal said the first step in making a claim would be to send the item back.
