FEMA opens Disaster Recovery Center in Brunswick County
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – FEMA has now opened a location in Bolivia to help people register for assistance.
The mobile Disaster Recovery Center is at the Brunswick County Emergency Services Center at 3325 Old Ocean Highway.
The center will assist residents with registrations for assistance from Hurricane Matthew as well as Small Business Administration and FEMA Mitigation issues for individuals.
The center will be open tomorrow and Friday, November 10 and 11, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The center will close on Sunday.
Additional days may be added. The last day to register for FEMA Assistance is December 12.
Brunswick County Emergency Services says FEMA will also have teams working throughout the county attempting to locate others who may need help. These teams should be wearing FEMA apparel and will have FEMA credentials with them to identify them as FEMA Disaster Workers.
