Pending school board approval Western Harnett football coach Larry Brock will be leaving Harnett County in order to take accept the head football coaching position at North Brunswick High School in Leland. Brock served as the head football at Western Harnett for four seasons.

It didn't take long for Ashley to find a replacement for Propst. The Screaming Eagles will introduce Jeff Turner as their new head football coach on Friday morning. Kevin Motsinger has decided to leave after nine years as the head football coach of the New Hanover Wildcats. This was a surprise announcement that caught the Wildcat community off guard due to the success Motsinger had during his time at New Hanover. Ashley High also has an opening for a new head football coach. Mike Propst, after a winless season in 2014, won't return for a second season.

This season's analyst, Kevin Schneider, had a previous basketball commitment to fulfill. We showcased a slew of basketball action on the Full Court Press. This included game action from Hoggard-New Hanover, Whiteville-East Columbus and much more including another football state championship for Wallace-Rose Hill.
