Firefighters put out flames at Castle Hayne home

CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) — No one was inside a Castle Hayne home when it caught fire late Wednesday night, according to dispatchers.

They say just after 11 p.m., firefighters got the call about flames coming from a home at 506 Olive Street. Dispatchers say neighbors spotted the fire nearby.

New Hanover County Fire crews responded, finally clearing in the early morning hours. Dispatchers say no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
