FIRST ON 3: 19-year-old stabbing victim had several brushes with the law
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Once Wilmington Police released Taaron Quintel Jones’s name and age after he was stabbed to death Sunday night in front of the Rhino Club, we ran a court check on the teenager.
According to court records, the 19-year-old had been arrested at least three times since 2008.
In May of 2008 he was arrested for Marijuana Possession. His trial date was scheduled for Monday.
Court records also show he was charged with Identity Theft last July. The court found him guilty. He paid a $250 fine and $133 in court costs.
And in November he was charged with Resisting a Public Officer. That trial date was scheduled for February 16.
