FIRST ON 3: District Attorney fires back at Judge Jolly
THE FOLLOWING IS A NEWS RELEASE FROM DISTRICT ATTORNEY JON DAVID:
On April 15, 2011 Judge Jerry Jolly issued an Administrative Order which stated that I engaged in grossly inappropriate behavior that brought the criminal justice system into disrepute.
No hearing was held on this matter and the Court’s findings of fact are wildly inaccurate. I categorically deny that I have done anything wrong, and I welcome the opportunity to explain my actions at the appropriate time. On today’s date, I delivered a letter to Judge Jolly which outlined my position.
I will not make another public comment on this matter until I receive his response, or until the deadline has passed that I specified in my letter. In the meantime, I ask the community to reserve judgment until all of the facts are revealed.
