First baby of 2026 born at Cape Fear Valley Health
FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — Analeia Rhoads Simpson became the first baby of 2026 born at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
She was born at 4:17 a.m. Thursday, January 1.
Analeia is the daughter of Jasmine Rhoads Simpson and Michael Rhoads Simpson of Fayetteville.
The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 20 inches long.
To celebrate the milestone, Analeia and the family received a gift basket.
