FIRST ON 3: Wilmington restaurant to open third location in downtown

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington restaurant will open a new location downtown.

Islands Fresh Mex Grill confirmed the news of its third location on its Facebook page this morning.

WWAY has learned Islands Fresh Mex will take over the old Fuzzy Peach space at 310 N. Front Street. The restaurant opened its first store several years ago in Racine Commons near UNCW. Its second location opened in fall 2013 on Market Street in Ogden.

There’s no word yet when the new location will open.
