First confirmed H1N1 virus in North Carolina

North Carolina now has its first confirmed case of the H1N1virus.

Sunday, state health officials reported a positive case of the flu in Onslow County. The patient has been ordered into isolation for seven days.

Officials would not release the identity of the person, but did say the patient probably caught the flu in San Antonio, Texas.
