First day of class at UNCW

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Thousands of students at UNCW traded-in down-time for study-time. Today’s the first day of classes at UNC Wilmington. Fresh from the beach blast yesterday, students are now gearing up for a new semester. They say the first day can be a bit nerve-wracking. “You should’ve seen me this morning!” said James Bryson, a junior at UNCW. “This morning I was shaking a bit. Actually my hands were shaking a bit but its more excitement than anything.”
Others aren’t so shaken up. “I’ve done it too much to be nervous at this point I’m just ready to get it over with.” said Lizzy Pappa who is a UNCW senior. Despite the course-load and anxiety students are still hopeful. Hopeful … they say… this semester will end just as quickly as it started.
