First-ever class at Mosley Center receives diplomas

There is a new group of graduates in Wilmington.

The seven members of the first-ever class at the Mary Mosley Performance Learning Center received their diplomas Wednesday.

The Mosley Center opened in August as an alternative to traditional high schools that uses computer-based learning. Kristen Snide said she is thankful to have had the Mosley Center as an alternative. “It’s a good school to come to if you want to actually graduate and you’re trying to better yourself and go to school. It’s a good school to come to. They help you out a lot and they’re really interested in you as a person.”

Mary Mosley herself was at Wednesday night’s ceremony, helping hand out diplomas.
