Five charged with running meth lab in shed

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit have arrested five in connection with running a meth lab in Supply.

The lab was found in a shed at a residence in Oyster Lane in Supply this morning after receiving a tip Monday.

Deputies say Destry Hall, 45, Jesse Mills, 25, Matthew Vitale, 27, Kenneth Smith, 26, and Alice Curl have all been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possessing methamphetamine precursors. Each suspect was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $1 million bond.

Officials with the SBI and Tri Beach Fire Department assisted in dismantling of the laboratory.
