Five charged with trafficking cocaine in Brunswick County


BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) —  A traffic stop on Green Hill Road in Leland ended with five people facing drug charges.

It happened around 5:00 p.m. on Monday. According to a news release, Brunswick County deputies pulled over the suspects. A canine searched the vehicle and found 4 ounces of crack/cocaine. Later, a home in Robeson County was searched, where two firearms and $11,000 in cash were seized.

Kimberly Coleman, 50, of Southport, and Jessica Nicole Milliken, 29, of Leland, are charged with harged with possession with intent to sell and deliver (PWISD) cocaine, maintaining a vehicle used for keeping and selling a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiring to traffic in cocaine, and two counts of trafficking in cocaine.

They are in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under $250,000 bond.

Vanessa King, 38, of Delco, was charged with PWISD cocaine and conspiracy to traffic in cocaine. Her bond is set at $250,500 bond.

Judy White, 55, of Wilmington, and Rodney Troy Williams, 48, of Bolivia, were each charged with conspiring to traffic in cocaine.  White was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $250,000 bond while Williams received a bond of $1,010,000.

Agents with the FBI’s Coastal Carolina Criminal Enterprise Task Force, along with Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office and Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, were involved in the arrests. The investigation is on going.
