FOLLOW-UP: UNCW Professor suing university; Claims column kept him from getting promotion

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Our story Wednesday on Dr. Mike Adams and his outspoken columns instantly became one of the hottest stories we’ve posted on this site recently. Many of our users applauded Dr. Adams’s bluntness and humor to highlight the problem of political correctness on campuses across the country and the apparent lack of common sense in the world of academia.

Dr. Adams also has a lawsuit against UNCW pending in Federal Appeals Court. In it, he claims the university discriminated against him and denied him a promotion to full professor based on what he wrote in his columns regarding his political and religious views.
