Former President Trump cancels rally in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Former President Donald Trump canceled his rally in Wilmington on Saturday, about 25 minutes before he was set to take the podium.
An announcement by Trump was played over the loudspeakers, where he apologized to the crowd and said he was in the air set to land, but was advised that he should not due to the severe weather expected in the area. He promised to return in the future.
The rally was set to begin at 7pm at Aero Center Wilmington, located at 1830 Flightline Road.
