Former Hoggard football star continues success

A former Hoggard High School football star is continuing his success in Massachusetts.

Thomas Harrison is a senior at Holy Cross, and is one of the top receivers for the Crusaders. He leads the patriot league in receiving yards with 341 off 26 catches with two TDs.

In addition to his on-field success Harrison will graduate with a degree in political science and has already made a few rap CDs.

But his mother says it’s who he is as a person and his concern for others that sets him apart.

Rev. Jessie M. Harrison said, “He’s very mild, he’s very easy going, and he’s very concerned about people. I mean, he’s so concerned about his brothers and his sisters and
he wants them to accomplish great things and he’s so willing to help people.”

After graduation Harrison hopes to continue his career in the NFL.
