Fort Fisher Fall Festival canceled

KURE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — An event that was supposed to take place at the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area Saturday has been canceled.

The family friendly Fall Festival which features Halloween-themed programs and contests was supposed to take place from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The festival has not been rescheduled.
