WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police said four are facing charges following a ShotSpotter alert.

Police said the alert came in last night around 10:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Stewart Circle, near N. 30th Street. A white car was spotted in the area and stopped at the intersection of Campbell and North 8th streets. Police said a revolver was found in the car.

All four occupants are facing charges of discharging a firearm in the city and carrying a concealed weapon: Timothy Fronk, 24, Kenyon Simpson, 22, Jeremiah Simes, 24, and Rashad Tyson, 23. Tyson is also facing charges of an outstanding warrant of breaking and entering and heroin possession.

No injuries were reported.
