Garden party alternatives

A lot of people playing ‘hooky’ today. They say Dockside is the place to be. People started filing in at 9:00 this morning. They’ve got live music and drink specials all day long; Dockside is just one place people are hanging out today.

Dressed in their garden party’s best, just not at a garden, many spent this beautiful day on the water at Dockside.

Even the mayor of Burgaw and his wife stopped by the event. “Enjoy meeting new people and seeing all the people we haven’t seen since the last azalea festival,” said Mayor Cowan.
