Gas prices up for another straight week

North Carolina (WWAY) — Gas prices continue to go up nationwide including here in North Carolina. This week continued a multi-week trend of price bumps.

Average gasoline prices in North Carolina have risen 11 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.31 a gallon.

That’s according to GasBuddy’s survey of about 6100 stations statewide.

Prices in North Carolina are 16.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, and 11 cents higher than a year ago.
